Education Travel
I was commissioned by Re-Fresh Web Services to create a new visual identity for Education Travel,
a brand of TravelCentre Australia that organises and hosts educational tours around the globe.
The brief was then expanded to include the design of their website.
Project details
The coding approach had to be compatible with the 'Drupal' platform to ensure the highest possible levels of stability and security.
I delivered a fully working 'proof of concept' in HTML5 before the project was carried trough to completion in Drupal (www.educationtravel.com.au).
The brand identity is based on an ancient rune stone designed to appeal to the curiosity of student travellers. Runes engraved in the 'old Norse' language recorded the voyages of the vikings in the first millennia, often with just a single character and have been found all over Europe.
